Therion Biologics has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and talented individual to join the Quality Assurance team as a Summer Intern. The primary role is to provide database management support and to understand basic compliance and systems support to the Quality Assurance team, in addition to general administrative support. This is a great opportunity for someone who is interested in learning more about the biotechnology industry in general and the role of a Quality organization. In this role, you will:

Roles and Responsibilities:
* Provide assistance to Quality group with the expansion/creation of a new database, data entry, and database management to allow for product manufacturing and release traceability.
* Assist in the organization of lot history files, filing of batch records upon completion of review and compilation of documentation required for lot release.
* Develop a basic understanding of Quality systems, Compliance concepts and related terminology.
* Assist in administration and database entry of Quality systems, such as the Environmental Action/Alert and the Water Action/Alert systems.
* Attend GMP training, quality systems training and other training as required.

Experience, Education and Specialized Knowledge and Skills:
* Proficiency with Microsoft Word
* Excellent grammar skills.
* Experience using Adobe, FileMaker Pro (or similar database), and Excel strongly preferred
* Ability to handle a large volume of detailed work under tight deadlines.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Extremely well organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-conscious team player that works quickly and accurately
